Accounts are the organizations you are doing business with. Each Account will store all the relevant data for that organization and all the open and finished jobs created under that Account.
Contacts are the individuals that request each service and are stored under their respective Account. Each Contact will store all the relevant data for that individual and is where each job is entered and stored that is requested by that Contact.
Recipient (party being served) is the term we use for each service request/job/case you are completing. Each service request is stored as a Recipient under the associated Contact that requested service. Here is where all relevant job info is entered specific to that individual job.
Leads are the potential accounts you want convert to customers. With the ability to target Leads using marketing campaigns, you can track your progress when converting Leads into paying customers.
